Overview:

A highly respected company in the Baltimore area is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join its lean and dynamic team. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of investments, including publicly traded securities, hedge funds, private equity, and assets spread across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounting and tax compliance for a complex portfolio of investments across 40+ entities

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and related documentation

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory standards

Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed

Handle day-to-day accounting operations and respond to unexpected challenges with a service-minded approach

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or investment-related roles

Background in fund accounting, auditing investment firms, or banking experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (will consider candidates without a degree if they have significant relevant experience)

Strong technical skills and proficiency in accounting principles

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an interactive, open-office environment

Details & Benefits:

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000

Location: Baltimore area (onsite daily; occasional remote flexibility)
